The capacity of Chinese EV makers to produce high-spec cars at low cost is disrupting the automobile industry and geopolitics. As the world debates Chinese EVs within a context of subsidies and tariffs, a sector often overlooked is tourism. Or, more specifically, China’s dynamic self-drive sector.
